JOB SUMMARY
The position is responsible to perform general maintenance of the highway maintenance project assigned as it relates to storm water and drainage functions.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Cleans and grades ditches, drainage structures, highway road shoulders, and slopes
• Operates equipment such as a skid steer, mini excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader, etc.
• Operates a chainsaw
• Uses all equipment safely
• Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• 18+ years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• CDL preferred
• Reliable transportation to and from Company office
• Ability to lift fifty to sixty pounds (50 – 60 lbs.)
• Ability to comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy
• Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather patterns
• Highway maintenance or construction skills preferred
