Nurse Helper - St. Joseph's Hospital
St. Joseph's Main Hospital in Tampa is looking for their next great Nurse Helper Team Members.
Nurse Helper positions are available for Day and Night Shift opportunities.
Full Time hours are 3, 12 hour shifts per week, every other weekend.  Day shift hours are 7AM -7PM, Night shift hours are 7PM - 7AM.
The Nurse Helper:  Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.  Must complete the BayCare provided Nurse Helper training class and Welle class prior to orientation on the nursing unit at the hospital.
Position Requires:  High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution, Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (either through the American Heart Association or Red Cross), completion of the Nurse Helper and Welle classes and the ability to work flexible hours is a plus
For this position, we are looking for a person who is dedicated to compassionate patient care in a hospital setting as part of a dynamic healthcare team.  This position requires no previous nursing or healthcare experience and is an entry level opportunity in healthcare.  You will help patients to the restroom, feed patients, get linens, water, ice, etc and porvide various assistance to patients.  If you have always dreamed of working in healthcare, helping people when they need it most and making a real difference every day, then this position could be right for you.
