Full Job Description Hendrick Screen is actively recruiting for an Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable Clerk.
Duties of position:
The individual who functions in this position must carry out all of the day-to-day activities associated with being a Senior Administrative Assistant with this multi-faceted role. This position encompasses responsibility for processing account payables, assisting with human resource projects, assist with incoming calls, monitor and order office supplies, and be able to support Office Manager in her absence.
To qualify for this position, an individual must be able to perform all of the following:
• Verify all purchases received and process account payables.
• Assist Office Manager with day-to-day activities.
• Assist in processing incoming telephone calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Assist Office Manager with accounting month-end close.
• Assist with quoting and scheduling ground and LTL shipments, including preparation of all necessary documents.
• Monitor and order office supplies.
• Pick up and drop off company mail.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required including those when reassigned or transferred and regardless of whether duties are related to his/her normal duties.
Minimum Qualifications for Employment:
Education:
• High school diploma with appropriate business courses or equivalent work related experience.
Skills:
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills, which include knowledge of word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to type accurately 50-60 words per minute.
• Requires a high degree of attention to detail.
• 5+ years administrative experience.
Knowledge:
• Requires working knowledge of office equipment including but not limited to computer, calculator, and copier/scanner.
• Requires knowledge of general office procedures.
Experience:
• 1-3 years office experience in a manufacturing environment is
• Sr. Administrative Secretary must have 5+ years of administrative experience to support the office manager.
Supervision:
• Minimal supervision after initial training period.
