Pay Rate: $15-17 per hour
Bi-Weekly Pay schedule

WORK FROM ANYWHERE - REMOTE
This position takes in-coming calls from members, providers, etc providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.
Evaluates and authorizes approval of prior authorization pharmacy requests from prescribers received by telephone and/or facsimile using client clinical criteria. Determines appropriateness for medications. Communicates decision to physicians, physician’s office staff, medical management staff, and/or pharmacists. Communicates selected prior authorization criteria, pharmacy benefit coverage, and formulary alternatives to physicians, physician’s office staff, medical management staff, and/or pharmacists. Researches, resolves, and documents prior authorization outcomes in the pharmacy system. Escalates requests to Pharmacist when request requires extensive clinical review or denial. Researches, resolves, and documents physician or client inquiries and grievances. Provides verbal or written results to client, prescriber, provider, and/or management.
Job Requirements
Performs other duties as required.
• MUST have call center experience or Service background
• MUST Have State Registration Certification or National Certification.
• Pharmacy background experience or health background
• Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.
Training hours will be from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST (subjected to change). 6-7 weeks
We need to fill later shifts, so count on working a shift that ends between 6:00 pm - 9:30pm pm EST. Weekend shift possibility rotation (earlier time)
Pay Rate: $15-17 per hour
