• Bachelor’s degree or greater required in Computer Science (preferred), Information Technology, or related field (Physics, mathematics, engineering)
• Ability to facilitate a task’s entire lifecycle going from product requirements to deployment
• A history of creating and/or maintaining great team cultures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate a team around a specific set of goals and deadlines
• 2+ Years managing projects and engagements involving multiple stakeholders, with the ability to effectively present materials to wide-ranging audiences
• An eye toward documentation, verbal communication skills, and organization
• 5+ years of professional development experience (Python), including writing and optimizing queries. This will be valuable to establish credibility with your team.
• 3+ years of direct experience with database optimization techniques like indexing, clustering, and sharding
• 3+ years of experience developing and/or managing enterprise-scale PostgreSQL implementations
• 3+ years of experience managing development teams and communicating
• 2+ Years developing on Django ORM and Django REST Framework
