Full-Time Job Details Description Bloomin' Brands is seeking an experienced BSA for a three month temporary assignment, to support IT production applications work. The role can be performed remotely. The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) role requires the individual to possess experience in both the business and related technologies. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design and development of the necessary requirements to support system development and implementation efforts.  The BSA manages and coordinates these activities from beginning to end through the use of agile best practices focused on strategic/analytical assessment, requirements gathering, iteration identification, and problem solving and project management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Directs/leads requirements gathering sessions with end users at all levels (Vice President, Director, Managers, Individual Contributors) Develops process flow charts as required to support use case/business requirements understanding Works collaboratively with IT and business and keeps team members and business stakeholders informed of critical issues, project status, changes, etc. Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications and mapping documents as well as communicate in writing or in meetings with the development team. Collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently with Development and QA team in the completion all development projects. Follow up, investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production support incident and requests Provide support to the Product Owner with backlog grooming and prioritization   EXPERIENCE/SKILLS Three or more years of experience in developing requirements and performing system analysis Understanding of relational databases and experience in writing SQL Server queries Takes ownership of critical decisions, leading to resolution on behalf of the business and IT Ensures both business stakeholders and IT team members are all aligned with project objectives and identified agile practices Experience with various system development lifecycles such as waterfall, RUP, and Agile methods Restaurant/Hospitality industry experience is a requirement BEHAVIORS/PROFESSIONAL SKILLS Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to communicate, verbally and written, technical requirements/constraints to a broad audience of technical and non-technical individuals Ability to work as team member or as a single individual contributor Ability to learn new concepts quickly Ability to interact with all levels of the company with patience, courtesy, diplomacy and professionalism Ability to maintain a positive outlook with an optimistic and professional attitude at all times Aptitude for logical and analytical thinking, with strong problem solving skills Self-starter/motivator having a proactive, agile and strategic mindset EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS Systems or related technical field required.
