Job Summary
• Full-stack Software Engineer with the ability to take a customer's idea and build a normalized (3rd normal form) SQL database, web APIs via Entity Framework, and front-end web applications
• Support existing applications and vendor services to meet customer needs
• Ability to evaluate software based on end-user criteria and workflow analysis; design; develop; test; end-user train; implement; and manage/support assigned application systems or projects
• Complete understanding of the software development life cycle
• Directly interact with department managers and team members to provide automation services in support of the department's strategic and operational objectives
• Develop and maintain system specifications and technical documentation
• Act as liaison between Information Technology vendors and TGH
• Participate in department and hospital task forces, focus groups, and committees to meet group objectives
• Proficiency with computer-based analytics and reporting tools such as spreadsheet and database applications
• Responsible for performing job duties per the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to balance technical and business dynamics while communicating appropriately and accurately with technical and business experts
• High School Diploma or GED
• Full Web Stack Software Engineer using Microsoft products
• C#, ASP.NET, MVC, CSS, JS, SQL, Entity Framework
• Solid understanding of database normalization and ability to whiteboard a logical ERD
• Experience with a version control system that involves branching and merging activity within an overall collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Sitecore 9.3 Experience
• Drupal/PHP Experience
• Responsive Web Design
• Microsoft T-SQL Experience
• Building and validating to WCAG 2.X ADA Compliance Standards
• Application development process using git and Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Experience with Azure applications and services
• Experience working with SharePoint Online/Office 365
