Responsibilities:
• Development of data extraction, transformation and loading processes using SQL Server, SSIS, Stored Procedures
• Data Modelling - dimensional/reporting, data warehousing and transactional use cases (Physical and Logical modelling)
• Performance optimizations on SQL Server, SSIS, SQL tuning and investigation of bottlenecks
• Evaluation of tools and technologies for data processing and web services
• Ability to translate architecture and low level requirements to design and code using SQL and Java
• Understanding of micro service architecture, Experience in development with Core Java, Restful web services using spring boot.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge/Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of Extensive experience in SQL Server and Java on batch and real time processing
• Must have in depth architecture knowledge of SQL engine and Extraction-Transformation-Loading process (SSIS)
• Must be able to design logical and physical data models for performance aligned to business use cases
• Hands on SQL features - Indexes, Partitioning, Bulk loads, DB configuration, Always On, Security/Roles
• Hands on Programming features - Multithreading, JDBC, caching
• Certificate: Microsoft - MCSA SQL 2016 Database Administration or Microsoft - MCSA SQL 2016 Database Development
• Good to have:
• Exposure to reporting tools and Big Data knowledge
• Experience with Web services, ECS / Docker
