The Financial Assistance Caseworker is responsible for:
·Identifying patients who may be eligible for financial and social assistance from various public agencies by assessing their financial and social situation.
·Acting as a liaison between the patient, the family and public agencies.
·Documenting the assessment and approvals.
·Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience includes 5 years Social Work or Public Assistance with a High School Diploma or 1 year Social Work or Public Assistance with a Bachelors degree.
