Department Profile
Tampa General Hospital’s Radiology Department provides state-of-the-art imaging for a variety of conditions, and interventional invasive procedures. Their fellowship-trained radiologists are trained in diagnostic imaging techniques for all of the hospital’s sub-specialties, including neuroradiology,  cardiac, musculoskeletal, thoracic, body, and vascular imaging. In collaboration with the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, the imaging department serves as a training facility for medical students, residents and fellows.  The imaging departments also serve as a training organization for many imaging programs. Their relationship with Tower Radiology offers  patients and students over 18 different location options for outpatient imaging.
Job Summary
Under supervision of Section Manager or Team Leader and according to established procedures performs retrieving, delivering, and maintaining of patient images. Performs moderately complex clerical functions including receiving, classifying, reconciling, consolidating and summarizing of images, documents and information. Sets up and maintains office equipment. Compiles regular reports using established formats and procedures. Performs reception duties such as answering the phone, as required. Demonstrates expertise in Imaging Systems functions to include: importing and exporting of exams, quality assurance, assistance for Radiologists and other hospital staff, and performs other office duties when needed. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General.

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
•
Moderate computer skills required to include medical imaging systems
•
One (1) year of imaging systems and/or medical experience preferred
•
Customer service experience
