The#PRISM#Research Specialist II#supports#survey design and#web-based study workflow# development.#Knowledgeable#in#programs#used for collecting participant reported data#(e.g.,#REDCap, Qualtrics,#Teleform#and DatStat).#Open to learning#new skills#in#designing#instruments#for participant-based research.#Proven written and oral communication skills are essential.## The Ideal Candidate will#demonstrate:# Background in social and behavioral sciences with#knowledge of research methods.# Knowledgeable#in core specific technologies and applications used for quantitative and qualitative data collected from research participants.# Ability to#establish#and maintain effective collaborative research relationships with others (core members,#faculty,#and staff) and to contribute to ongoing research projects requiring core facility support and communicate clearly verbally and in writing.# Willingness to#learn new skills#and#develop#techniques in participant-based research.# Experience#in a customer-oriented service laboratory/core facility is desired.## Completes other duties as assigned#and learns new procedures under minimal direction of senior staff.# Credentials and Qualifications:# A Bachelor#s degree in#Sociology, Anthropology, Public Health,#Psychology,#or other Population#Science with#at least#3#years of#experience and at least one year experience in core specific applications.## Research-based experience preferred.#Annual#Human Subjects Training,#i.e.,#CITI#is#required
