Maintenance Worker
We are seeking a PLANT MAINTENANCE WORKER for our Portable Crew located in Western Kentucky. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
• Routine Equipment/Plant Maintenance
• Operating Production Equipment
• Involved with Plant Improvement Project
• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on plant
• Inspect and perform repairs as needed for plant
• Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors and screens for plant
• Inspect and replace or repair conveyor belts
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:

Must have a dedication to safe work practices

Previous maintenance experience preferred, but not required

Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed

Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and a regular 2pm - 12am shift.

Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Skills:

Experience in heavy equipment is preferred, but not required

5 years of plant maintenance and utility experience, preferably in a quarry environment

Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.

Experience welding and cutting

Experience operating heavy equipment
