Job Description
The DI Systems Coordinator implements, monitors and maintains the day-to-day operations of the Radiology Information System (RIS) and the PACS under the direction of the DI Systems Manager. In this position, you will coordinate with other departments and vendors to achieve optimal use of the systems and ensure software and hardware enhancements are implemented and operate consistently. Another key responsibility is providing end-user support and instruction to department staff. You will also be responsiblefor performing other related duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
• Graduate of an approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology required
• Associate's degree in a scientific or healthcare related field required
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare related field preferred
• Training and experience as an end-user of radiology software is required
• Eight (8) years of diagnostic imaging experience that includes direct experience with radiology information systems required; four (4) years of experience are acceptable with a Bachelor's degree
• Experience designing and/or managing radiology information systems or picture archiving and communication systems preferred
• (LC: ARRT-REG) OR (LC: ARDMS-SON) OR (LC: NMTCB-NUCL) Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or certification from the Nuclear Medicine Certificate Board (NMCB) required
