KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the analysis, the design, and the optimization of the IT processes in the SAP system as well as for product-specific further development
• Concept, develop and implement company-specific applications based on SAP ABAP / ABAP OO like programming of interfaces (IDOCS, ALE, BAPIS, RFC) as well as extensions of forms (Smart Forms, SAP Script, and Web Dynpro) and FIORI
• Responsible for the analysis, optimization, and further development of existing applications in the SAP modules MM, SD, FI and CO
• Test and document the development results (if necessary, also in the user manual) and ensure the transfer of knowledge in the team.
• Act in the different phases of the development process like technical conception, effort estimation, test, implementation, and documentation
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support with a share of approx. 40%
• Act as project member on projects such as SAP rollouts
• Create target group-specific documentation and presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Completed business management, information technology or engineering degree, or equivalent 4 years qualifications and professional experience.
• Possess at least 8 years’ experience working in the SAP ABAP development
• Profound ABAP development experience and have gained knowledge and skills in using the SAP development technologies ABAP and / or ABAP OO, Web Dynpro (for ABAP), FIORI, ABAP Web Services, SAP WEB IDE and UI5
• Experience with SAP interface technologies (IDOC / ALE, File, HTTP, XML, tRFC, qRFC, AIF)
• Experience with Hana database and CDS - views is desirable, as well experience with the use of
• Experience in SAP projects, including conception and implementation in medium-sized industrial companies.

• Possess analytical and conceptual thinking.

• Proven success in developing and implementing creative solutions.

• Willing to travel ( 10%)
• Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages (German, Spanish or Portuguese) a plus
