Manager, Provider Affairs
Position Purpose:
Oversee the daily operations of Provider Affairs, including the Network Management, Customer Solutions and Credentialing functions.
• Develop and execute strategic plan to build and enhance the network in priority markets
• Oversee the daily operations of the network management and credentialing functions and resolve escalated issues that arise
• Support and implement strategic initiatives to elevate customer service satisfaction for clients.
• Act as the subject matter expert for provider political action committees and a liaison between Opticare and state optometric associations, including being the point of contact for information requests, issues, or concerns
• Develop, measure, and ensure department metrics are met and/or exceeded
• Train, coach, and develop team as needed
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4 years of provider relations, network management, or credentialing experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
