Job Description:
The production supervisor will lead the production team in safety, processes, compliance, and ensuring orders are met for customer satisfaction.
Leadership
• Lead work of hourly employees and ensure compliance to all safety rules for plant.
• Develop and maintain an effective and trust worthy work environment at all times.
• Maintain high level of awareness of all environmental rules that apply to units and systems and ensure team’s compliance to the rules and regulations.
• Ensure compliance to all company policies and regulations and administer everyday activities of all production personnel.
• Responsible for production employees reaching daily and weekly production and quality goals.
• Coordinate employee training to comply with all environmental, safety, quality, and operations regulations and standards.
• Respond to and drive to resolution on all employee grievances.
Manufacturing :
• Deliver clear expectations to employees regarding job performance, personal conduct and DARAMIC goals.
• Assist in root cause analysis needed to improve the safety, reliability, and profitability of process units or systems.
• Adhere to production schedules and coordinate manufacturing processes to meet customer demands.
• Lead and direct continuous improvement projects using 6S and TPM tools.
• Assure that the product and processes are compliant with the internal specifications determined by DARAMIC.
• Support shipping goals as pertain to the BSF.
• Lead maintenance activities in respective area of responsibility.

Education:
Preferable College Degree or Previous experience in Supervision
Professional
Experience:
Manufacturing Experience within a Union Environment
Communications:
Be an effective communicator, using written documentation, verbal communication with various levels of production, provide and encourage positive reinforcement
Languages:
English
Skills:
Trouble shooting skills in a manufacturing environment. Ability to drive standardization through auditing and coaching, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Statistical Process Control knowledge.
