SUMMARY:
SQL Server Database Administrator
Lazydays is seeking a MS SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to be a part of our modernization effort. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other team members and Subject Matter Experts. The DBA should have experience with Microsoft SQL Database Administration. The DBA needs to maintain best practices and collaborate with the systems, application team, and our outsourced database support partner. The DBA will be working on continuous service improvements, expected to take active part in Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and System Administration.
Required Qualifications:
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 4 years of experience in MS SQL server administration and maintenance
• Must have experience in MS SQL Server 2008 - 2019
• Configuring and troubleshooting Replication
• Perform backups and restores
• Work on indexes, index management, and statistics
• Work on SQL Server tools and performance monitoring
• Experience using SSIS as the ETL tool
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Seffner, FL
Preferred Qualifications:
• Implement operational automation using scripts
• Experience with Windows Administration is a Plus
• Planning and Co-ordination skills
• Good Communication and Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a fast-paced delivery environment
