The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute has openings for a Research Associate in cancer proteomics research.# We pursue an interdisciplinary approach spanning proteomics, chemical biology, translational medicine, molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics to characterize systems level views of cancer signaling networks. Particular emphasis is given to integrating functional proteomics technologies, e.g. chemical and phosphoproteomics, to dissect the underlying mechanism of drug action and cancer biology.# See http://labpages.moffitt.org/haurae/Home.html Position Highlights: We are looking for a Research Technician with Bachelors or Masters degree with a cross-disciplinary skill set who is interested in working on projects related to (i) protein complex based biomarkers using proximity ligation assays, (ii) mass spectrometry based proteomics, and (iii) signaling studies and analysis of cancer. The Ideal Candidate: Successful candidates will have experience in: mammalian cell culture western blotting RNA interference DNA cloning # viral transduction immunohistochemistry analytic microscopy Responsibilities: Perform routine lab tasks. Contribute to preparation of manuscripts, grant applications, and administrative documents as directed by immediate supervisor. Organize, document, and present data at lab meetings. Credentials and Qualifications: Bachelor#s Degree in related field is required Hands-on research experience is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
