Position Title: Loan Documentation and Process Manager
Supervision Received: Position reports to the Senior Loan Operations Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes
Job Summary : Management and leadership responsibilities for planning, staffing, operating performance, and leadership and supervision of the company's retail and commercial loan documentation areas, consisting of primarily paraprofessional team members, in a manner that provides service that exceeds customer expectations.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create policies, procedures, standards, and performance goals which strengthen operating infrastructure, improve team responsiveness, and facilitate productivity/efficiency gains.
• Provide leadership for implementation of critical business initiatives, assisting the lending team with implementation of procedures while encouraging and supporting new ideas.
• Independently manage relationships within all levels of the organization, auditors, examiners, and attorneys, serving as a direct liaison to facilitate issues, resolve problems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Cross train team members to, at all times, maintain high level of service that exceed customer satisfaction goals.
• Discern and prepare loan documentation needed to ensure collectability of the loan, attachment and perfection of security interests, all in accordance with loan approval and compliance with federal and state rules and regulations as well as company policies.
• Funding loans in accordance with the closing statement.
• Retention of loan and supporting documents in accordance with retention guidelines and company policy and procedures.
• Obtain and report data points needed to monitor and report compliance with various regulations including but not limited to BSA, CRA, and HMDA.

Skills and Abilities Required to Perform Essential Job Functions:
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in high volume production environment under tight time constraints
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while under pressure
• Detail oriented, with an ability to make sound decisions
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication skills
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Paralegal Degree or other Formal Loan Documentation and Processing Training
• Minimum 5 years of Loan Processing, Quality Assurance, and Management Experience for Commercial and Consumer Loans.
• Proficiency in federal and state rules and regulations, specifically Kentucky and Indiana
• Versed in Real Property Law, Entity Law, Suretyship Law, and UCC Commercial Code
• Experience with Finastra solutions
Physical Factors:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. Minimal physical exertion. Duties involve moving materials weighting up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 75% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, 10-key calculator, phone, and similar machines.
Working Conditions:
Indoor, environmentally controlled. Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
