South Central Bank, Inc., is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Mortgage Underwriter. The position performs pre-underwriting review on loans prior to closing. Researches, prices, and locks rates submitted to the lock desk.
The qualified candidate will need to poses the following skills:
• Three Years loan closing experience in Conventional, Government and RHS residential mortgages.
• Data Entry, computer and typing skills
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and to work overtime when required.
• Aptitude for figures and detail oriented
• High-school diploma
• Ability to multitask in a high pressure and time sensitive work environment
