We are looking for a dynamic, team player Medical Assistant with 1-3 years MA experience (Primary Care or Nephrology a plus), works well on a team, very organized, and outgoing.Candidate must have a positive attitude, team player mentality. The role requires travel between the Wesley Chapel, North Tampa, and Zephyrhills offices.  Experience preferred but will train!  MA knowledge/experience a plus!
Keys to Success in this Role:
• Completes the start of day processes
• Properly room patients
• Takes and records vitals
• Assists provider during examination and with treatment
• Performs diagnostic studies and treatments as ordered by the provider
• Enters charges for services rendered by the medical assistant
• Processes medication requests per provider
• Handles medication refill requests
• Obtains prescription overrides and prior authorization when needed
• Manages clinical tasks
• Handles patient calls:
• Distributes, reviews, and teaches patient education
• Organizes and maintains sample and supply closets
• Assists provider with completion of forms requested by patients
• Prepares charts
• Completes the end of day processes
Job Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Completion of Medical Assistant program preferred
• Strong team player
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong customer service orientation
• Must be willing to travel between the Wesley Chapel, North Tampa, and Zephyrhills locations

• Able to stand or walk for long periods
• Use of proper body mechanics
• Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
