Full Job Description Urgent Care 24/7 in Riverview, FL is looking for several on-call X-Ray technologists for our busy clinic.
While on-call you must be able to respond to the clinic within 30 minutes from the time you are called. You can be at home, running errands, or even at the movies but as long as you can respond to the clinic within that time, you are welcome to do what you want. X-Ray technicians will be paid an hourly rate while on call and paid a "per-study" rate for each study you shoot.
X-Ray technologists with Urgent Care 24/7 Tampa make their own schedules and are eligible for the employee discount at any of our urgent care clinics.
The qualified X-ray technologists must be able to perform a variety of diagnostic X-rays independently and relate pertinent information to the Radiologist and attending physicians. X-ray Tech must be able to work in emergent situations in a fast-paced manner. He/She must demonstrate exceptional patient care with a variety of patient's needs based on age and acuity level.
Requirements: ARRT Required. BLS preferred.
Must be proficient in conducting the following studies:
• Chest
• KUB
• Extremities
• Spine
• Head/Facial
• Adult / Pediatric
Graduates and late-year students from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Radiography are preferred.
