Position: Registered Nurse
Unit: PACU
Location: Brandon, Florida
There is a medical facility in Brandon, Florida is actively interviewing for an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN). This is a 13 week assignment with the possibility of extending. Travelers with Ambulatory Surgery Center experience, Endo Eyes, ENT, Ortho, all outpatient surgeries is a HUGE PLUS
Assignment Details:
• 13 Weeks
• 40 Hrs Per Week
• Monday – Fri- No weekends no call
• 8 hr Variable shifts – Day/eve shifts (variable based on case load)
• Possible extension based on performance
• Electronic Charting
• Traveler friendly Facility
Education and Certification Requirements:
• BSN preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• FL or Compact RN License
Required for Interview:
• Current Professional Resume
• Clinical References
• 2 recent years of experience on the unit
Job Duties
• Monitor patient post surgery
• Monitor surgery site
• Recognize signs of a reaction to anesthesia
• Recognize signs of distress or discomfort
