Responsibilities:
• Manage and drive the Issue Management process from start to finish ensuring ORM-T/C & D Coverage Teams’ alignment with Issue Management Procedure and Policy
• Support the Coverage Teams’ management of issues throughout the issue lifecycle (documentation, root cause analysis, control development, remediation planning and execution, status monitoring and reporting, and closure activities).
• Develop, produce and monitor issue metrics for Senior Leadership on a consistent basis and confirm through quality assurance controls that Issues management is being performed according to Issue Management Procedure and Policy.
• Provide day-to-day support to ORM-T/C & D colleagues and business partners on development of effective corrective action plans, remediation approaches, timelines, compensating controls and documentation supporting work being performed.
• Leverage communication and influencing skills to guide issue and corrective action plan owners and issue managers throughout the issue management process.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the Issue Management team as well as with our involvement with our business partners.
• Centrally track and ensure delivery of all MCA-related challenge work for ORM-T/C & D.
• Support engagement between MCA Team and ORM-T/C & D coverage teams in a manner that enhances engagement and strengthens rigor in MCA Independent Challenge
Qualifications:
T he candidate will have 6+ years of experience in a technology and cybersecurity risk management, audit, or compliance setting.  The candidate should have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel (metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (presentation decks), and Word (writing and editing procedural and technical documentation).  Prior experience in global financial services firms and/or Big 4 preferred.  Specifically,
• Knowledge of technology and cybersecurity risk management concepts and principles, and the processes and controls necessary to execute such a program
• Thorough knowledge of financial and risk reporting as well as experience from the business and/or technical area desired
• Experienced understanding of management information systems, data analytics tools, and related best practices and control initiatives across the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with regulatory and operational risk landscape facing global banks
• Professional ability and presence to interact with senior Bank, Compliance and Audit Management.
• Ability to run and manage conference calls with business partners, technology and functional peers from multiple disciplines to reach a common goal.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to synthesize key messages to describe processes and controls for non-technical audiences.  Exceptional Communication and presentation skills to peers and upper management.
• Solid relationship management and customer service skills as the provider of a service across multiple teams.  Ability to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and influential skills, as the role requires close interaction with ORM-T/C & D Coverage Teams recommending a specific course of action and influencing adoption.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent follow-up and solid attention to detail.
• Detail oriented with analytical skills, with an ability to perform data manipulation and presentation. Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Access .
Education:
• Bachelor’s/University degree preferred
• Related certifications (CISSP, CISA or similar) preferred
Other Responsibilities:
• Stays abreast of automation capabilities and contributes to directional strategy.
• Assist with periodic ad-hoc projects (e.g., Facilitate specific training to ORM-T/C & D teams on Issue Management procedures and best practices).
• Assistance in coordination and fulfillment of IA and regulatory requests for all matters relating to ORM-T/C Issue Management .
• Assist with the coordination and collaboration between ORM-T/C & D and the central MCA Team in support of the Independent Challenge processes
