Job Description
The Executive Director International Care Strategy will assist in moving forward Shriners’ international patient strategy. Our strategy is to be the globally recognized resource for specialty pediatric care, training, and research aimed at maximizing the potential of every child. Our patient strategy will treat more children in more places closer to their home, build international capacity, leverage our brand, expertise, membership and core Shriners mission and optimize the use of our resources. The Executive Director International Care Strategy will be responsible for overall execution, leadership, strategic development and stewardship of our international patient care strategy in alignment with the international vision of Shriners Hospitals for Children. The candidate best suited for this role will be an experienced, dynamic and engaging executive who has cultivated international relationships, collaborating with clinical providers, the Shriners fraternity and in-country partners, with the goal of continuing to provide care to current and future children in need of our expert pediatric services.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• 5 or more years of leadership experience at the Service Director or Executive level
• 10 or more years of clinical and / or medical experience and expertise
• A Master’s degree within a healthcare specialty or healthcare related field
• Bilingual fluency (written and verbal) in both English and Spanish will be critical for this role.
