Full Job Description Position Summary:
The ECC Advocacy Analyst assists benefit clients’ employees with questions regarding benefits, claims advocacy, enrollment support, and communications via phone and email as Tier 1 ECC support.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Maintains a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, firm and insurance company partners to minimize potential for errors and omissions claims.
• Documents all activity in on-line client file to ensure quality and responsiveness.
• Personally, provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated small group accounts (less than 10 lives):
• Interacts with HR as main point of contact
• Processes benefit administration as needed
• Provides enrollment support.
• Provides daily (Tier 1) Employee Care Center Call Center Support for ECC accounts.
• Provides daily (Tier 1) Employee Care Center email support for ECC accounts.
• Provides escalated Claims Advocacy for clients.
• Cultivates strong relationships with insurance company partners.
• Is responsible for knowing carrier requirements and attributes
• Looks for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processes. Brings issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
• Must have all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions as necessary in states where the firm functions.
• Effective presentation skills in both verbal and written communications.
• The ability to learn appropriate insurance company and firm software systems.
• The ability to learn benefits and grow in product knowledge.
• The ability to apply knowledge and experience to explain benefits to members in clear and relatable terms.
• Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads while adhering to deadlines.
• The ability to interact and communicate effectively in a team environment to share knowledge and manage workflows.
• Must demonstrate core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture.
