Overview
National DCP is the exclusive purchasing and distribution entity for Dunkin' restaurants in the continental U.S.
This position ensures safe, legal, and on-time delivery of freight to Dunkin’ Restaurants.
$26.66/Hour - overtime after 40 hours
Schedule:  4 day work week, 4-6 am start time with 12-14 hour days
Must be able to drive a standard 10 speed.
Responsibilities
• Operates a 10 speed transmission tractor trailer transporting freight to and from specified destinations.
• Conduct a proper pre-trip to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
• Ensure paperwork is in order before departing the DCP.
• Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products.
• Required to be able to read a map and/or written directions.
• Unloads freight using a hand truck in a safe manner into store locations.
• Maintains proper logs of travel and freight according to Federal and State regulations.
• Maintains contact with Member Services department to communicate any problems or delays.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle. Also responsible for the removal of trash at the store caused by the delivery (shrink wrap, cardboard and pallets).
• Responsible for reporting any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues.
• Conduct a proper post-trip to ensure equipment is in good working order to minimize delays the following day.
• Must have knowledge of DOT laws and CMV requirements.
• Must be able to operate a refrigeration unit and a lift gate safely.
• Acts as the main point of contact between the Distribution Center and the customer
Qualifications
• Must possess a clean driving record
• Must be qualified physically per Department of Transportation Safety Regulations
• The position involves heavy repetitive lifting (50 lbs. plus) which may also include transporting the product up or down stairs

• On Board Computer System Experience (People Net preferred)
• Prior unloading freight experience required – using hand truck
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CDL Class A License required
• Must have at least 2 years of driving back to back experience with a Class A license
• Food/beverage delivery experience preferred
