Assists with patient care, in accordance with scope of practice, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Accurately documents the administration of care in the patient record in a timely manner
Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for providing patient care under the direct supervision of the physician and/or RN/Charge RN in accordance with physicians' orders, and established policy and procedure.  Facilitates patient transfer to floors, and patient flow.
Communicates and interacts with patients, families and others in a caring, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner.
Participates in the discharge planning process for all assigned patients.
Graduate from an approved paramedic program or completion of emergency technician program; and/or equivalent.
6-12 months related experience
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) American Heart Association
