Job Summary Works on the design and development of all enterprise reporting solutions. Responsible for developing operational, analytical, and strategic reporting solutions for information consumers simplifying access to information. # Job Responsibilities Translates business requirements into reporting solutions utilizing Business Objects WEBI, Explorer, Universes, and Crystal Report that meets business functional requirements and provides scalability, flexibility, and extensibility. Works in close coordination with Epic Application Reporting Leads, Enterprise Data Architects, and Cogito Project Manager. Develops understanding of clinical work-flows, business process flows, and data relationships and operates in all phases of a Business Intelligence development life cycle which incorporates requirements definition, design, report development, and deployment as well as support. Analyzes, sets up, and validates Epic released Clarity content for reporting to enable information sharing. Coordinates development efforts with Epic ARLs and Application Analysts on report specifications, clinical work flows, and data validation and Data Architects on available data objects for data extraction or developing new data sources. Participates in the maintenance of Owensboro Health Report Library for information dissemination and in the development of self-service reporting tools in Business Objects, WEBI and Explorer. Maintains and supports existing reports working with Epic#s Sherlock troubleshooting process and reviewing release notes in Nova to identify changes. Develops BI solutions following development best practices and standards as defined by Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and guidelines. Qualifications Associate#s degree or higher in Information Technology required upon hire OR Associate#s degree or higher in related field required upon hire A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
