Job Description
This position will be responsible for the internal audit of information entered into Fleet Cost Care, the fleet management system used for the company to ensure job information is completed correctly and efficiently across all locations. They will also instruct employees on underutilized aspects of the system to foster more complete knowledge and use of the system by all employees to aid in better processes for daily tasks. This individual will receive extensive training themselves to have a vast and comprehensive knowledge of the Fleet Cost and Care system.
Major Responsibilities
• Create and prepare reporting for Executive Team and managers to help in running their respective divisions.
• Daily/Weekly audits of program used to maximize utilization of system capabilities.
• Implementation and monitor usage of LEMs for all project / labor jobs. (LEM information feeds into the Fleet Cost Care system and related to labor hours)
• Training of employees on the use of system to maximize correct use.
• Train employees to promote better use of Fleet Cost and Care.
• Handle all inquiries from employees and be account manager between company and Fleet Cost Care.
• Training of modules within Fleet Cost Care.
• Ensure payroll related information in Fleet Cost Care is inputted correctly by our employees so accounting department is getting accurate information.
• Providing company leaders with insights for decision-making purposes
• Job cost, customer revenue, equipment costs, and other system driven financial performance report generation and writing.
• Update/Maintain users and equipment when necessary. General overall management of the Fleet Cost Care system.
• Oversee security within Fleet Cost Care.
• Act as backup for various positions in emergency situations where Fleet Cost Care is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
• Possess fine attention to detail.
• Possess strong social skills due to direct contact and training of employees.
• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test.
Desired:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Prefer candidates with 3-5 years accounting or auditing experience.
• Experience with the program Fleet Cost Care.
• Previous experience using specialized software programs.
• Prefer candidates with proficient oral and written communication skills, technical skills, and functional skills.
