AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN FOR A GENERAL LABORER TO JOIN THE EUCLID CHEMICAL TEAM AT THE INCRETE FACILITY IN ODESSA, FL.

PURPOSE:
The General Laborer will safely and efficiently package products according to quality standards using automatic and manual machines. Assist operators, batch makers and other employees with various tasks in regard to finished product manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Read and follow daily production schedule and instructions
• Fill finished product into appropriate packaging
• Operate automatic and semi-automatic sealing machines, power tools, wrapping machines and other devices as necessary to accomplish various tasks
• Stack and palletize material in a safe, clean and neat manner
• Operate and understand use of a scale
• Maintain accurate written records / process orders & checklists (housekeeping, forklift, etc)
• Move material from packaging to FP warehouse
• Keep an open line of communication with other operators and supervisor
• Assist other operators & batch makers where necessary
• Communicate immediately to Supervisor any circumstances that may affect quality or would be considered unsafe
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly workstation / area
• Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift certification

• Mathematical Skills - Basic ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Listens carefully to others and ensures message is understood. Ensures important matters are shared with all appropriate parties and communicates in a clear and concise manner.

• Attention to Detail- achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through demonstrating concern for all the areas involved.

• Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
