MATERIAL HANDLER 8am-5pm, Monday Friday (Saturdays/Overtime as needed)
• Responsible for processing orders while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
• Assist trade professionals and customers as needed.
• Strong multi-tasking skills, moving between our customer service counter and the warehouse.
• Safely operate a forklift to move, load and unload material.
• Inspect products and prepare for shipping or customer pick up.
• Handle materials such as metal bars and sheet metal.
• Receive, identify and stock incoming materials.
• Machine shop, fabrication shop and experience with a band saw or shear is a plus.
• Basic math knowledge and ability to use measuring instruments: tape measure, caliper and micrometer.
• Assist in provide basic maintenance of equipment and maintain work areas ensuring safety first.
• Pick up and deliver materials as needed. Valid Driver License and clean driving record required.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) helpful, but not required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
• Must be able to travel and work in other local sites.
• Excellent customer relationship skill.
• Standing and walking on your feet all day.
• Physically able to lift 50-100 lbs. frequently.
