POSITION PURPOSE:
The Construction Fleet Administrator is responsible for managing and monitoring the inspection and maintenance of new construction equipment throughout the sales process. Uses LiveLink and Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) software, to improve product quality, customer satisfaction and overall dealer cost reduction, to ensure the product meets the customer’s expectations. Ensures all Briggs JCB standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Monitor completion of inspections upon receiving new units by partnering with the Service Dept. and Operations Manager
2. Ensure monthly inspections and required repairs on units are completed by partnering with the Service Dept. and Operations Manager
3. Manage unit transfer to PDI inspection upon retail and prior to unit delivery to customer
4. Partner with Operations team to proactively communicate with the end user for warranty extensions as well as address machine error codes
before they become extreme repairs that will negatively impact the customer
5. Produce reporting for inspections and follow up performance to be reviewed with Service Dept. and Operations Manager
6. Use MPI tool to create, edit and delete users, create and edit locations, manage unit transfer between locations, and report any software and
unit discrepancies to JCB
7. Manage scheduling of upcoming services on units; to include contacting customers and providing parts and service quotes for required
maintenance
8. Manage Livelink Portal to include; creation of customer tenancy and machine allocation, managing and monitoring units, updating
maintenance health and security notifications, creating / assigning / removing users, managing customer notification and reporting,
monitoring contract renewals
9. Provide training to internal and external customers on using the Livelink Portal to improve service business provide enhances customer
support
10.Partner with Marketing department to ensure telematics services are included in the marketing message for dealership
11.Project manage ad hoc analysis and create digestible reporting for company’s leadership team to effectively and quickly make business
decisions
12.Performs other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Knowledge & Competencies:
• Excellent Customer Service, MS Excel and multi-tasking skills
• Customer Service, MS Excel and multi-tasking skills
•Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of mechanical systems and schematics
•High attention to detail, to include precise data entry
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of systems, procedures, techniques, equipment, operations, standards and reports that apply to service operations
Previous Experience/Education:
• College degree preferred
• 2+ years' experience in service writing
• 1+ years' experience in service dispatching
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
