Full Job Description We are looking for a hardworking Warehouse associate to Join our fast pace environment You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as unloading trailers, verifying incoming freight, placing items (small and large) in racks, inspecting and verifying correct product is in correct location. Inspecting items for damage and correct packaging, processing incoming stock and materials. Picking orders for shipment as well as local deliveries and taking care of basic housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Warehouse Receiving Associate duties and responsibilities
• Verify correct orders have been received
• Placing items in to inventory in neat orderly fashion
• Verify correct product is being delivered using appropriate tools
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
• Visually inspect products and verify package counts
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Be able to use handheld scanner and associated programs
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
• Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift)
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisor
• Safely operate power equipment including but not limited to, forklift, stock picker or pallet jack
Warehouse Receiving Associate requirements and qualifications:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage
• Previous working experience in Warehouse Receiving (2) years
• Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
• Team player
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem solver
