Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership
We’re looking for a high energy, positive, forward-thinking team player to add to our Fitlife Foods Family who specializes in problem solving. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of a fast growing and fast paced omni channel prepared meals business.  Our Logistics Manager will have the freedom to design and create the system they want to enable us to get our fresh prepared meals to our customers as efficiently as possible.
The Logistics Manager’s responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of finished goods to Store locations, Home Delivery (HD) and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) orders.  Basically, you will own the process of getting our meals from our Culinary Center production cells to our end customers.
The primary goal is to be responsible to manage Inbound transportation and Outbound Order distribution to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and condition of product to help ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategically plan and manage logistics operations to include, but not limited to: Outbound order preparations, Finished Product Storage within facility, routing of shipments, and final delivery to Store, HD, and DTC drop-off locations
• Direct, optimize and coordinate shipment routing
• Evaluate budgets and expenditures
• Liaise and work with various team members, both internal and external, such as: Order Selection, Fulfillment, Outbound carrier, and In-store receiving team(s) to ensure timeliness and satisfaction
• Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, order specifics, delivery times, transport costs and metrics performance
• Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
• Organize warehouse (loading dock), staging areas, plan routes and process shipments for optimal accuracy and efficiency
• Accountable to resolve problems or complaints related to aspects of logistics from both internal and external customers
• Supervise, coach and train team members to maintain standard of excellence
• Maintain cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness metrics
• Analyze data to assess performance and drive continuous improvement activities
• Accountable for key supply chain metrics and performance
Requirements
• 3+ years as a Logistics/Outbound Manager, or progressive responsibilities in a relevant field
• Record of successful Distribution, Fulfillment, and/or Logistics Management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage diverse staff
• Experience with TMS, ERP, WMS, and Distribution software
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred or commensurate experience
• Lean experience is desired and considered to be a significant plus

Candidate must be based in the Tampa area; no relocation will be provided.  The position will work in our Culinary Center located in Plant City, FL and will report directly to our Director of Culinary Operations.
