Full Job Description Large company in Tampa is looking for a Director of Internal audit to lead its team. The company has 7 locations across the US and continues to grow year after year.
In this position you will be responsible for :
Leading the overall direction and leadership of the internal audit function
Planning operational, financial and compliance audits in addition any required SOX work .
Work with the Risk Management Committee and the Audit Committee to help assess internal and external risks to the company.
Assess and improve the companies financial processes and controls.
Work closely with the external auditors for the annual audit.
Hire, develop and manage a high performing audit team of six.
Oversee the execution of other tasks and special projects required by management.
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Certification - CPA or CIA is a must.
At least 10 years of experience and at least 4 years in a management role.
At least three years of public accounting experience in a Big 4 or National firm. Some SEC experience is preferred.
Experience in Manufacturing or Agriculture

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
