Location : Tampa, FL (Local to Tampa will work from home until further notice)
Industry : Recruitment/Staffing
Shift : M-F, day shift (occasionally support after hours based on clients needs and workload, special projects, etc.)
Salary : $35,000-$40,000

Job Summary:
The Onboarding & Payroll Administrator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations Talent Experience team and clients we service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Conducts or assists with new hire orientation, onboarding, background, and drug screening.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date onboarding files, logs, records, and documentation.
• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level Talent Experience staff or management.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of employee files and records.
• Performs periodic audits of onboarding files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
• Assists Recruiters with professional references on an as needed basis.
• May assist with payroll functions including pulling timecards, answering employee questions, researching pay statement errors, and distributing payroll email announcements/updates.
• Acts as a back-up liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
• Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), vendor management software, recruiting software and similar computer applications
Education and Experience:
• Minimum two years of onboarding and/or payroll, or Human Resources experience
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• ADP Workforce Now is preferred
• Prior related office experience preferred and experience working for a staffing agency is highly desired
• Ability and/or experience working from home and home office setup
