Full Job Description • Supervises and coordinates verification of records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment: Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Determines space requirements of current materials in warehouse and required space for all incoming material.
• Must be able to multitask, work under pressure and deadlines as well as complete tasks at hand.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel along with in-house inventory programs.
• Maintain various logs in order to maintain certifications (i.e. fire labels, Windstorm labels, specialty wood doors)
• Required to ensure maintenance is completed as needed on two box trucks
• Experience with door hardware is a plus
• Overtime on evenings and weekends on an as needed basis.
