Join the expanding C&S Aviation Team in the Tampa, Florida office (located in the Westshore business district). We are seeking an Airport Civil Engineer supporting our Florida and national projects. This position is diversified with time being spent on hands-on horizontal airfield design and project management functions. You will also be leading and supporting business development. This opportunity will allow you to interact with customers, FAA/FDOT personnel, permitting officials and multi-disciplinary C&S teams.
This is a full-time position with a focus on airfield design and construction of horizontal airfield projects offering competitive compensation, great employee benefits and an outstanding work environment. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
• You will provide team leadership for the design and construction of horizontal airfield projects in our Tampa or Orlando office.
• You will lead project management efforts on engineering projects including budgets, resource alignment, client relations, quality, scheduling, and business development.
• Responsibilities include administration of consultant/sub-consultant agreements, resolving critical issues/policy matters and presenting new concepts.
• Opportunities exist to lead/support other projects in offices across the country.
Skills/Education/Experience
• Successful candidates will possess at least 4 years overall related experience with a minimum of 1 years' experience in airfield design including the knowledge of airfield and FAA regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred (Florida preferred).
• Existing relationships with strategic clients a plus.
• Strong communications skills.
• Skills to effectively lead and work in large and small multidisciplinary team environments.
• Ability to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress.
