Job Description:
Business Development Manager (BDM) / Account Manager (IT Staffing)
SMCI an established technical staffing firm is seeking an Account Manager / Business Development Manager to build collaborative and supportive relationships with current and future clients and client partners. This would also maintain very collaborative relationship with a team of consultants to increase satisfaction and successful delivery to various projects/assignments. We desire a candidate with 3-4 years of BDM / Account Management experience with mid-market and large, high profile clients. Preferably with Technology Staffing Experience.
This position is primarily a liaison between the client, our consultants at the client site, and SMCI management, providing a steady line of communication and problem escalation between all levels. Requires experience with account management and personnel management.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Ensuring client/consultant satisfaction via on-site personal visits, telephone communications and other appropriate means
• Daily communication with management, and marketers and recruiters as to ongoing issues and resolutions
• Overseeing consultant issues on the job at the client site
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 3-4 years of Business Development Experience
• 3-4 years of client account management experience
• 3-4 years of personnel management
• Strong background in IT service industry
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities
• Patience, empathy, good listening skills
• Very strong verbal and written language skills
• Excellent attention to detail and follow through
• Project and time management skills
• Proven ability in problem solving and organization
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Able to communicate well across managerial levels within the client and internal organization
• Able to work positively in a team environment
Required Skills: PRIOR TECHNICAL STAFFING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
