Description and Requirements
As one of Premium’s Retail Pet Managers, you’ll lead a team responsible for building relationships, merchandising, training, executing events/promos and driving sales for one of the biggest pet brands on the market. By increasing the retail presence of the client’s consumer products, you’ll deliver beyond what’s expected for the client.

What will you do?
• Manage, coach, mentor, develop, train, schedule and recruit a remote team of part-time representatives that merchandise, drive sales, increase brand awareness and influence market share.
• Work side by side in store with team members to ensure the client’s objectives are being achieved.
• Serve as the primary dedicated expert for each team member’s successful performance in client service and service order execution.
• Act as liaison between representatives, management and client by overseeing day-to-day activities with deliverables, promotions and other processes or assignments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures with all representatives and regions/markets.

• Ability to travel to markets within designated territory, up to 75% travel required.
• Occasional weekend work required.
• Must be comfortable working in a pet store environment.
• Proven track record in multi-tasking, demand management, problem solving, organization and prioritization skills.
What experience should you have?
• Undergraduate bachelor’s degree preferred,
• Minimum two years management experience in retail, retail operations, retail distribution, merchandising, sales, marketing or service organizations required.
• Minimum three years in retail, merchandising, and / or consumer packaged goods required.
• Account / client management experience desirable.
• Microsoft Office Suites proficiency.
