The V.P., IT Customer & Digital applications oversees the development, support, and roadmap of all customer-facing and digital IT systems, 3rd party and internal. This role sets vision, global strategy, and policy, aligns to business financial goals, minimizes security risks, and increases user satisfaction. The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company.
This individual is responsible for operational and service management processes to ensure that quality, efficiency, and agility goals are achieved. This role must develop a meaningful and collaborative partnership with the key business owners required to drive a customer-focused mindset and the desire to overcome barriers standing in the way of delivery and integration.
This leader must manage and drive changes to culture as well as the organization’s operating model, including the transition to a more mature agile development methodology. A diverse background of technology from hardware, software, application development, and cloud infrastructure is required to research solutions, maintain supplier relationships, solve technical problems and create business opportunities. This position directs the activities of 5 or more functional areas through directors and managers/senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. This position has control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
As a member of the IT senior leadership team, the role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy. It also ensures its alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success. This includes advising the CIO and other leaders across the organization on: Though leadership, guidance, and delivery – people, process, and technology Applications strategic roadmap, program development, and delivery Application governance, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures Application implementation, technology evaluation, and solution recommendation Day to day operational metrics and system stability improvements Vendor and contract management for technology and 3rd party services
