Job Description:  Sales Development Rep
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for supporting the Transflo Sale’s departments through lead generation or new prospects. This includes all inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns. The Sales Development Representative is also responsible for proactive lead generation. The Sales Development reps report to the Regional Sales Director.
Job Responsibilities:
Schedule at least 24 Executive Overviews for the RSMs and RAMs each month for respective regions.
• Proactively call into new logos and current customers based on targeted lists by utilizing and maintaining the corporate database.
• Generate qualify inbound and outbound leads.
• Participate in the first 1-2 months of the sales cycle by building relationships with key decision-makers at targeted accounts, identifying their project needs and business issues.
• Overcome objections and effectively communicate Transflo's value propositions to critical decision-makers regarding appropriate Transflo product offerings.
• Build customer discovery based on information obtained from targeted prospects to support the value proposition of Transflo products.
• Maintain a strong relationship with the sales team through clear communication and follow-up.
• Maintain up to date good knowledge of all Transflo product offerings by participating in product demonstrations, meetings, and Sales materials.
• Stay current on industry trends and maintain extensive knowledge of competitor's product offerings.
• Actively participate in the innovation of new techniques and strategies for securing new accounts.
• Participate in project teams as needed to support sales initiatives.
• Operates with autonomy and self-starter attitude with regular cadences of reviews of work.
• Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in sales or business development roles
• Experience with SaaS or Cloud Solution sales highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and friendly professional demeanor on the phone
• Tenacious work ethic with a desire to be a top performer
• Ability to articulate product value proposition
• Highly intelligent, passionate, ambitious, and a team player
• Resourceful and adaptable to change
