You Are:
A data visionary – literally! You are fascinated by data, no matter where it comes from. Your superpower? Leading data visualization efforts by creating crystal clear, compelling visualizations of data in clients’ standard platforms – then teasing out and sharing insights from that data. You have top-notch communication skills and you’re in your element juggling priorities in a fast-paced setting where results are everything.
The Work:
• Be a part of a team that is in charge of building end-to-end digital transformation capabilities and lead fast moving development teams using Agile methodologies.
• Consult on and help with the making of creative data visualization to give users the best experience possible.
• Help migrate users’ homegrown data visualization applications to enterprise standard.
• Collaborate on creation efforts between the Accenture team and client business users to define and validate compelling Analytics applications or dashboards that drive value add.
• Keep everyone from individual contributors to top executives in the loop about progress, communicating across organizations and levels. If critical issues block progress, refer them up the chain of command to be resolved in a timely manner.
• Pinpoint and clarify key issues that need action, lead the response and articulate results clearly in actionable form.
• Show a strong aptitude for carrying out solutions and translating objectives into a scalable solution that meets end customers’ needs within deadlines.
Here’s what you need:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or 2 years of hands on data visualization experience
• Minimum 5 years of full life cycle development (i.e. Agile and Waterfall delivery experience)
• Minimum 5 years of design and development experience with 2 or more of the following data visualization tools: Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot
• Minimum 2 years logical data modeling (Oracle, Teradata, SAP, Netezza, etc)
• Minimum 2 years of data integration/preparation experience (Alteryx, Tableau data prep, Power Query, etc)
Bonus Points If:
• Certified in one or many of the technologies mentioned above
• Custom data visualization experience using Javascript, R, CSS, HTML5 and/or d3.js
• Machine Learning (integration) or AI experience
• Cloud migration experience
• Automation/dev ops
• Project management
• Solution architecture and planning
• Previous consulting experience
Travel
For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.
