Cambridge Management, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves insuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff.

About the position
Preventive Maintenance/Safety:
• Must be knowledgeable of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials.
• Constantly be aware of the condition of apartment property throughout the community and immediately corrects unsafe conditions.
General:
• Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directedElectrical and plumbing (including water lines).
• A/C and heating systems
• Water irrigation systems
• Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings
• Tile, carpet, flooring
• Roofing, gutters, fasteners
• Gas fixtures and appliances
• Security systems
• Ceiling leaks
• Be knowledgeable of inventory levels of spare parts and supplies
• Performs any additional duties assigned by Regional Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
Position Requirements
Skill and Abilities
• Must have a valid State Driver’s License if working multiple properties or driving a golf cart on property
• Ability to manage multiple high priorities at once
• Flexible demeanor and positive attitude
• Ability to work evenings, overtime, holidays and weekends, as needed
• Must be thorough, reliable, honest, and service-oriented
Required Education & Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent field.
