Citi’s Global Talent Acquisition Brand & Marketing team is seeking a talented, collaborative, and versatile Senior Designer with strong illustration, motion graphic, video and graphic design skills. You are a strategic graphic designer who will support the Citi brand by designing dynamic print, motion graphics, social media content and digital marketing creative.
The ideal candidate has a background in digital design and animation, full command of Adobe Creative Suite, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate on projects. They will be able to design advertising materials, social videos, and web and social media graphics. You will partner with the marketing team in planning, managing, and delivering graphic deliverables from concept through execution to create the best brand experience.
We are seeking a hands-on contributor, who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and can translate ideas into visual designs that engage candidates and prospects, social media followers, and website visitors. Your work will give life to storylines and will support the brand and communications within the organization. The position is responsible should understand typography, layout, print, video, animation and electronic communications.
The role will be responsible for the following:
• Brings the Design Vision to life by creating consistent digital customer experiences in an exciting way that engages key audiences. Create compelling visual experiences optimized for users including designing original pieces, illustrations, infographics, that work in a fully integrated manner.
• Understand the structure of the brand’s visual identity and how it is executed across all media channels and touchpoints. Leverage our brand visually to build and strengthen candidate relationships that drive message, conversions, and virality while adhering to brand guidelines and managing approval process to ensure campaigns consistent with branding standards and meet strategic objectives of all relevant stakeholders.
• Meets project objectives and maintaining schedules in a fast paced and changing environment and as a member of multiple, cross-functional project teams.
• Develop storyboards, create illustrations by hand or electronically, join images with background graphics and special effects, and ensure synchronization of frames and audio
• Develop creative strategy, developing, producing marketing information and publications about company programs and products, as well as creating and producing marketing materials and campaigns.
• Translate concepts into interactive design, illustrations, and infographics, maintaining visual excellence across all user touchpoints
• Work professionally with third-party and vendors printing, prototyping or building media placements, giving direction on copy, photography style, imagery, typography and motion.

Requirements
• 5+ years of multi-media design experience and be able to demonstrate current hands-on design expertise, project management, as well as presentation skills. Experience in a marketing agency, recruitment marketing and/or financial services is preferred.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite products (including InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier) and Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point and passion for learning new and trending technologies.
• Ability to create and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational, follow-up, and written, verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of web UI standards, responsive design frameworks (basic HTML, CSS knowledge a plus)
• Attend video, photo shoots and location visits, providing direction to photographers/ videographers to meet needs, as applicable
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Graphic design, Multimedia, web design, art, or a related field or related discipline required.
