This is a senior role and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
As a Project Manager you are responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion.  Lead implementation projects across multiple functional teams while ensuring delivery excellence. Drive key business initiatives and solutions across the project while adhering to the prescribed methodologies. Work directly with the Managers and Project Managers within the Business implementation team to provide oversight and guidance on their respective areas.
Position Purpose:
• Lead the analysis and recommendation / implementation of new and improved, streamlined processes. Including documenting as-is processes, volume and cycle times, including future state output for continuous process improvement (workflows, swim lanes, processes).
• Use industry best practices to inform future process improvements. Design, document and roll out a more streamlined process across the various operational programs. Establish performance measures and appropriate instrumentation.
• Using the DMAIC methodology, work with cross-functional teams (including vendors) to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and eliminate issues.
• Foster collaboration assigns responsibilities and coordinates work efforts among project team members.
• Track and report results to Sr. Director of PMO and Implementations.
• Manage the full project life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, managing budget, and facilitating project execution, deployment and closure
• Utilize corporate and industry standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage projects.
• Assist with establishment and maintenance of corporate project management methodology and other department procedures
• Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists and risk management plans
• Provide leadership and effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders, may include written executive summaries
• Designing risk mitigation plans
• Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company's objectives
• Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technica l areas
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. 4 years of project management and implementation or program management experience. Proficient with MS Office applications and project management tools. Experience working with and leading diverse groups and matrix managed environments.
License/Certification: PMP, PgMP, or CAPM preferred.
