Summary:
The Global Program Management Director will advance the Enterprise Transformation strategy by providing insight and analysis to help senior leadership plan and prioritize for each phase of implementation and direction. This leader will be leading the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and measurement of an Enterprise Transformational Program. This role will report directly to the Senior Director, GS Portfolio & Process Management office and partner with key stakeholders, including highest levels of the GS leadership and cross-functional partners.
This role will be responsible for providing quality review, governance, and oversight of the project deliverables.  Additionally, this role will be responsible for oversight and coordination with the project and portfolio transformation project sponsors; will lead strategy development and investment recommendations; and will assist with confirming the project charter, requirements, and RACI matrix.  This leader will determine and communicate project processes, procedures, and roles and responsibilities to the team.  Working with the Global Project Manager, this leader will develop timelines, project plan and monitor progress against the project plan.  Specifically, this person will lead a team of project managers to ensure day-to-day PMO activities including overall program status, resource load, and financial health of the project are appropriately managed and governed.
The Director, Global Program Management will be responsible for overall program risk assessments, developing contingency plans, and recommending mitigations, as needed. Provide input to overall program strategic delivery framework and drive updates on continuously improving the standards and methodologies. Anticipate potential risks / program obstacles through an understanding of key business processes, and the analysis of key program data. This leader will partner with program managers in each region to define key program metrics for each phase of the project and manage ongoing analysis and reporting. This role will also collaborate closely with the cross-functional Leads to integrate enterprise-wide dependencies and risks into project planning efforts.  Additionally, this role will provide input to the prioritization of program activities and objectives based on knowledge of project plan, resources, and budget and will form productive networks with internal business leaders to manage expectations and integrate diverse needs and perspectives.
Responsibilities:
•    Lead the planning and implementation of an Enterprise wide transformational program globally.
•    Align with the cross-functional partners and key stakeholders and facilitate the definition of the transformation program scope, goals and deliverables.
•    Work closely with GS and cross-functional leadership to define project milestones, activities, and resource requirements.
•    Develop and drive project financial management capabilities.
•    Develop full scale, integrated project plans.
•    Manage program management budget.
•    Manage program management resource allocation.
•    Plan, schedule and actively monitor program timelines.
•    Track program deliverables using appropriate tools.
•    Provide direction and support to program team.
•    Provide oversight for quality assurance.
•    Constantly monitor and report on progress of the program to all stakeholders.
•    Create and present status and leadership reports defining program progress, problems, and solutions.
•    Implement and manage program changes and interventions to achieve program objectives.
•    Program evaluations and assessment of results.
•    Build strong partnerships with functional and enabling support organizational leaders.
•    Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to resources supporting the programs to drive successful outcomes.
•    Manage and motivate program team members to deliver project objectives by regularly assessing resource needs, removing barriers to success, and providing constructive feedback when needed.
•    Embrace and lead a culture of inclusiveness and multi-cultural engagement through coaching and feedback to peers and the broader community in Global Services in alignment with the J&J’s Leadership imperatives.

Qualifications
Required:
•    A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
•    A minimum of 12 years of related business experience.
•    A minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience.
•    Experience consulting with senior executive teams, preferably in a shared service environment, to manage and prioritize projects and investments and subsequently design and implement integrated project plans to facilitate implementation.
•    Knowledge of project and portfolio management techniques and tools.
•    Direct work experience in project and portfolio management capacity.
•    Proven experience in people management, planning, risk management, and change management.
•    Proficiency in project management software (MS Project / OnePPM / Planview).
•    The candidate must have a proven track record of influencing, and relationship building skills that inspire trust and quickly build credibility between key stakeholders.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to facilitate collaborations.
•    This candidate will have proven experience driving progress and remaining focused under ambiguous and complex situations.
•    In addition, this candidate will have strong consultant and leadership skills.
•    Experience managing project budgets and resource allocation.
•    Up to 15% domestic and international travel may be required as business demands.
Preferred:
•    An MBA degree.
•    Experienced professional with international exposure in Shared Services roles
•    PMP certified project manager with active certification.  Possess a knowledge of various project management/continuous improvement methodologies ( i.e.; PMI, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma etc.)
•    Analytical skills and an understanding of the service delivery organizational processes.
•    Experience working with and managing consultants is strongly preferred.
