Position Details:
Job Title: CNC Machinist
Department: Engineering
Reports to: Director of Development
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary:
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain lab – organize and clean on a scheduled basis
•   Prepare stock for machining
•   Perform routine maintenance on tools/equipment
•   Run and monitor machines during operation
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
•   Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
•   Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer
•   Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
•   A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
•   Good communication abilities
•   Capable of lifting 50+ pounds
•   Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicles
•   Availability to work Saturdays when needed
•   Flexible hours
•   Adaptable to fluctuating priorities among projects
•   Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline is a plus
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from 2- year technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
