OVERVIEW:
Management position responsible for Recreation Facilities, primarily Jack C. Fisher Park and Softball Complex.
Primary essential functions include but are not limited to, scheduling, planning, coordinating, creating, directing, and implementing programs, events, leagues and tournaments. Supervises recreation programs, events, and activities for all ages; Budgets, markets, recruits, and staffs for programs, events, and facilities; Develops sponsorships and partnerships; Responds to the general public and participants to answer questions, resolve problems, and improve services.
Starting pay minimum $44,236/yr. Provided benefits include but are not limited to; health insurance, group life insurance, wellness program, and CERS retirement through Kentucky Retirement Systems. Paid time off includes; vacation, sick time, and holidays (for eligible employees).
QUALIFICATIONS (Required at time of application) :
• Bachelors Degree in Recreation or other job-related field; _* * _ AND * *
• 1 yr. work-related experience in recreation field; OR
• 5 yrs. experience in Recreation, Business, or Facility Management
• Valid driver’s license required
Supervisory, Facility Management, Softball, Baseball and Volleyball league or tournament management experience, and experience working in recreation setting with children, teenagers, and adults preferred.
